Discount / Sale Price Calculator
Enter the original price and discount to see the sale price and how much you save.
How it's calculated
Sale price = original price × (1 − discount% ÷ 100)
Savings = original price − sale price
Total (for quantity) = sale price × quantity
For example, an $80 item at 25% off comes to $60 — a savings of $20. Buy two and you'd pay $120 total, saving $40 altogether.
Frequently asked questions
How do I calculate stacked discounts (e.g. 20% off, then an extra 10%)?
Stacked percentage discounts apply one after another, not added together. Run this calculator once with the first discount, then use that sale price as the "original price" for a second calculation with the next discount — two 20%-then-10% discounts are not the same as one 30% discount.
Does this include sales tax?
No. This calculates the discount on the price you enter only. If tax is applied after the discount at checkout, add it separately to the sale price shown here.
